"Our attorneys are committed to providing our clients with professional, courteous and responsive treatment whether they are a businessman charged with a white collar crime or an individual facing criminal charges."
David Bahuriak, Founder

Federal Criminal Practice

The federal criminal practice of the Bahuriak Law Group spans all 50 States, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories.  The BLG has successfully represented clients implicated in narcotics smuggling schemes from Panama to Mann Act violations in Michigan. When facing federal criminal charges in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or throughout the United States, you are up against the vast resources of the United States government. The United States Justice Department, the FBI and other federal agencies employ sophisticated and highly technical methods to investigate and detect crime. Sentences in federal court tend to be more lengthy and severe than sentences in state court.  Because of the vast resources and the selectivity of cases brought to prosecution, the conviction rate in federal cases is substantially higher than that in state courts.

To effectively defend or negotiate in the federal criminal system, it takes attorneys with experience dealing with the various agencies, from the United States Attorney's Office to the FBI.  The attorneys with the Bahuriak Law Group, led by David Bahuriak, have extensive experience navigating this system.  At the BLG we not only know how to run trials in the federal system, but we also pride ourselves on knowing the federal statutes, case law and rules of procedure better than the government.  If you have already been convicted of a crime in federal court, the BLG can still apply its knowledge and expertise on your behalf by filing an appeal in the Circuit Courts of Appeals or the United States Supreme Court.
